Game drives
The heart of every safari. Early mornings and late afternoons in an open-roof 4x4, when the light is good and the cats are moving. Our vehicles carry a maximum of six so everyone gets a window seat.
Where and when: Every park, all year
What you can do
A safari is not one thing. These are the experiences we build trips around, and roughly when and where each one works best.

The heart of every safari. Early mornings and late afternoons in an open-roof 4x4, when the light is good and the cats are moving. Our vehicles carry a maximum of six so everyone gets a window seat.
Where and when: Every park, all year

Close to two million wildebeest and zebra moving in a loop through the Serengeti. Where they are depends entirely on the month, so timing matters more than anything else you decide.
Where and when: Serengeti, timing varies by month

On foot with an armed ranger and a guide. You see less big game and far more of everything else: tracks, birds, insects, the plants people still use as medicine.
Where and when: Selected parks and concessions

A dawn launch over the plains, an hour in the air, then breakfast on the grass. Expensive, and worth it once. We will tell you honestly if your dates suit it.
Where and when: Serengeti, dry season

Time with Maasai and Datoga communities, arranged directly rather than through a staged village stop. Fewer photographs, better conversation.
Where and when: Northern circuit

Five to nine days depending on the route. Longer routes cost more and succeed far more often, because your body gets time to acclimatise. We will not sell you a rushed climb.
Where and when: Year-round, best in dry months

Most people add three or four nights after a safari. Stone Town for the history, the north and east coasts for the water. A short flight from Arusha.
Where and when: Add-on after any safari
Tell us which of these matter most and we will shape an itinerary around them, rather than fitting you into a fixed departure.
