Yes. Every safari we run is private and tailor-made. The itineraries on our website are starting points; we adjust the parks, pace, accommodation level and length to suit you. Tell us what matters most and we will build the trip around it.

Tanzania is a well-established, welcoming safari destination and we take your safety seriously at every step. Our guides are experienced professionals, our vehicles are well maintained, and we monitor conditions closely. We are happy to discuss any specific concerns before you travel.

Some vaccinations are recommended and, depending on your route, proof of yellow fever vaccination may be required. Malaria is present in Tanzania, so anti-malarial precautions are advised. Please consult a travel clinic or your doctor well before departure for advice specific to you.

Yes. We are a licensed Tanzanian tour operator and a member of the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO). We strongly recommend that all travellers carry comprehensive travel insurance that includes medical evacuation.

Most of our safaris include park and conservation fees, a private 4x4 with a professional guide, accommodation, meals as specified, drinking water in the vehicle, and airport transfers. International flights, visas, tips, travel insurance and personal expenses are usually excluded. Each quote lists inclusions in full.

Yes. Your safari is private, with your own experienced, English-speaking guide throughout. Our guides are local, knowledgeable, and among our greatest assets; many travellers tell us the guide made their trip.

Days usually begin early, when wildlife is most active, with a morning game drive. You return to camp for the middle of the day, then head out again in the afternoon. On full-day drives you take a picnic lunch and stay out longer. Your guide adapts the pace to your wishes.

Pack light, in neutral colours, with layers for cold mornings and warm days. Bring binoculars, a camera, sun protection, insect repellent, any personal medication, and a soft duffel bag rather than a hard suitcase for fly-in safaris. See our packing list article for full detail.

We typically request a deposit to confirm your booking, with the balance due before travel. We will send clear payment details and a confirmed invoice once your itinerary is agreed. Our website takes booking requests only; no payment is taken online.

Cancellation terms depend on how close to departure you cancel and the policies of the camps booked. We set these out clearly in writing before you pay any deposit, so you know exactly where you stand. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

Most visitors need a visa, which can usually be obtained on arrival or in advance online. Requirements vary by nationality, so please check the latest rules for your country. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

For northern-circuit safaris, Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is the most convenient. For Zanzibar, you can fly into Zanzibar (ZNZ). We arrange all transfers and internal flights, and will advise the best routing once we know your plans.

Absolutely. Many of our guests pair a safari with a Zanzibar beach stay or a Kilimanjaro trek. We handle the internal flights and logistics so the different parts of your trip flow together seamlessly.

Camps and lodges cater well for vegetarian, vegan and other dietary needs, and for allergies, with advance notice. Tell us your requirements when booking and we will make sure they are communicated to every property and guide.
