We use our own 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs for game viewing, one vehicle per party. Every seat is a window seat. Our vehicles are maintained to a high standard and carry drinking water on every drive.

Days usually begin early, when wildlife is most active, with a morning game drive. You return to camp for the middle of the day, then head out again in the afternoon. On full-day drives you take a picnic lunch and stay out longer. Your guide adapts the pace to your wishes.

We typically request a deposit to confirm your booking, with the balance due before travel. We will send clear payment details and a confirmed invoice once your itinerary is agreed. Our website takes booking requests only; no payment is taken online.

Cancellation terms depend on how close to departure you cancel and the policies of the camps booked. We set these out clearly in writing before you pay any deposit, so you know exactly where you stand. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.

Most visitors need a visa, which can usually be obtained on arrival or in advance online. Requirements vary by nationality, so please check the latest rules for your country. Your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Which airport should I fly into?

For northern-circuit safaris, Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) is the most convenient. For Zanzibar, you can fly into Zanzibar (ZNZ). We arrange all transfers and internal flights, and will advise the best routing once we know your plans.
