Lake Manyara National Park - Kankari Lodge
Arusha – Lake Manyara: 2 hours
We begin this day with an early pick-up from your lodge or directly from the airport and enjoy a scenic drive toward Lake Manyara National Park while carrying packed lunch boxes, we’ll dive straight into the adventure with exciting game drives through stunning landscapes filled with wildlife and green thrilling nature. Later in the afternoon, we transfer to Karatu for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.
Lake Manyara National Park
The Lake Manyara is a paradise of contrasts and natural charm where emerald forests meet glistening waters and wildlife thrives in abundance. The park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions resting elegantly on acacia branches and its playful colonies of baboons that greet you at nearly every turn. Along the lake’s edge, flocks of flamingos paint the horizon pink, while elephants, giraffes, hippos, and zebras roam freely beneath the lush canopy. It’s a serene and magical setting, the perfect finale to your unforgettable safari adventure.

Kankari Lodge is located on the outskirts of Karatu town in the Ngorongoro Highlands. The lodge offers the perfect location for guests to explore the Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

After a hearty breakfast, descend into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable day of game drives. Explore its lush plains, crater floor, and diverse habitats, where a stunning variety of wildlife awaits. After your adventure inside the crater, we start the scenic drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
